"I write therefore I am"
Hello everyone!
First of all I'd just like to say a big thank you to all those that have supported me and encouraged me (much love to the readers of blackhairmedia.com, thisis50.com and balleralert.com) from the beginning of my journey as an author. You truly don't know how much it means to me and to be quite honest, I don't think that merely saying thank you is even enough.
I am a young black female that currently lives in London, UK, you'll find however that my work has been somewhat influenced by American urban culture and slang in general. That is just a product of all the US material that we are flooded with over here across the pond! I am an avid visitor of New York City, however I've not been able to get over there since the entire recession situation as you can imagine.
I hope to sign with a medium or major publishing house in the US because that is the market that my work mostly caters to. An ideal match for me would be a publisher that operates internationally.
Okay moving on to why I made this website in the first place. It was upon the kind and timely advice of 'Georgia Peach' of Balleralert.com (thanks Peachy!) that I was encouraged to put all my works published online in one place. I started out as a featured blogger on thisis50.com and was given a voice on the internet by the webmasters of the site, Broadway, Nikkidene, Corentin and g-unit promotions - another big thank you goes to them all.
Broadway was kind enough to guide me on how to structure my blogs and make them interesting to a mass audience. It quickly became addictive and I was posting many blogs everyday and communicating with the members of the site within the forums. Late Feb 2008, I was bored one day at work and wrote a one chapter story about a so-called 'gold-digger' named Amaya Summer and posted it on both thisis50.com and blackhairmedia.com. I got a good response from people and decided to write another chapter (also well received) but didn't do anymore after that.
Then one day in late March 08, a member of thisis50.com named 'Agape Love' stared a thread entitled 'Erotic Stories' and I decided to write a small piece about an Ambassador's Daughter named Ophelia. The response that I got from that one chapter was amazing; I had no idea that I could tell a good story on paper at all. But then again, I spent my childhood reading novels like a fiend and have always dreamed of writing my own book. I guess God said that it was time...
I'd finished The Ambassador's Daughter by the end of July 2008 and was just doing the editing in August of the same year when Broadway introduced me to blogging for Balleralert.com. It is a more female orientated site than thisis50.com and he felt that some of my more 'girly' blogs that were not getting recognition on thisis50 would do very well on Balleralert. He was right. Another big thank you is due to the Boss lady aka MadamBA of Balleralert who embraced me and my work with such entusiasm.
I posted two chapters of my third work in progress 'The Seductress' which is the gritty story of Heavenly Richardson in June 2008 on all three of the sites mentioned in this section. The content on Balleralert (and the stories of a good friend of mine) encouraged me to start the 'Confessions of a Married Groupie' series which ran on the site every Friday for 30 weeks. I also posted links to the series on blackhairmedia.com talk section and it was well received over there also.
By the end of 2008 I had self-published The Ambassador's Daughter and got very good reviews from those who were kind enough to buy and then read the entire book. That again encouraged me to finish my second novel entitled 'My Daddy's Money - The Story of a Golddigger' which is the whole story about fictional music video model 'Amaya Summer'.
Fast forward to April 2009, I have compiled all of my online work and links to other sites into this webpage and will be posting updates in my literary work on here. I know that this is a ning site, but the point of this is not to have people sign up or anything. This is just lady lynxx's little corner of cyberspace where I can post absolutely anything I want to! Anybody can join this site by all means, but are also free to just read and hopefully tell your friends and family about me.
I haven't actively looked for a publisher yet because I wanted to be at a point that I had a lot of material to offer. I now at that stage, but I can by all means be contacted at ladylynxx@fotki.com if any prospective publishers are impressed by my work and want to add me to their respective imprint.
Here are some other places that you can find me:

*Disclaimer: Some of my work contains GRAPHIC SEXUAL descriptions/language and is not intended for minors. Don't say that I ain't warned ya!* And if you were active in the 'Confessions of a Married Groupie' Chapters and challenged me in person and I will DENY that I know what you are talking about!
Note: That photo up there is actually me (I did that weave myself!) and since I've been an active blogger, people have asked why I never show my face! The simple answer is that I love being anonymous! I am not in this for the fame or the glory; I just enjoy writing, blogging and generally entertaining people. If I can make some money out of it as well, then great.
That's all folks! Check out the work featured in the blogs below and keep coming back for updates....peace and love!

Kay pulled up to Kathy’s house the day before the dinner to meet the kids. Even though it would have been nicer for Jack to have introduced her to his second set of twins himself, she thought it best to fill them in on what was going to happen and when they were supposed to come in during the dinner to surprise Jack. Kay had planned for them to show up just when she’d announced to him that they “wouldn’t be able to make it” and present them…
